On May 15 the Maricopa Republican Club hosted its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at The Duke. The successful event featured a great day of golf and fun for everyone involved, as well as community benefits.

“The Maricopa Republican Club, due to the leadership of Marty and Brenda Hermanson and with the help of its many volunteers and the staff at The Duke, had a very successful event and will be able to significantly assist two local organizations and one state-wide organization. We are very thankful to everyone that helped make this event such an incredible success. We look forward to making the event even more successful next year,” said Mike Robertson, vice president of the Maricopa Republican Club.

Due to the success of the tournament, the Maricopa Republican Club was able to present checks to the Maricopa Little League, the Maricopa Police Explorers, and the 100 Club of Arizona.

The Maricopa Police Explorers allows young individuals between the ages of 14 and 21 to become exposed to and involved with law enforcement. The 100 Club of Arizona provides financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty; it also provides resources to enhance the safety and welfare of these families.
