Rex: cute, intelligent, looking for a great home

My name is Rex. I’m three years old and probably a cattle dog/ Queens land Heeler mix.

I weight about 45 pounds, have all my vaccinations, am neutered and micro chipped. Crate trained and housetrained, I know how to use the doggie door and the commands to sit, shake, leave it and come.

I walk pretty well on a leash, and I’m learning to ignore other dogs while out in the neighborhood. I definitely have a dominant personality, so I might be O.K. with a medium to large sized female dog that would let me have my way. If there were another dog in the family, I would definitely need to meet them and see what we think of each other.

I love showing off what I know; show me a treat, and I’ll do anything for you. I need an active family who would take me for walks every day. If running is your thing, I can keep up just fine, and I’d love to have some rough and tumble kids to play with.
