Gila River Indian Community’s emergency services cleared a rush hour crash on State Route 347. 

InMaricopa received a tip at 3:20 p.m. about a collision at the Riggs Road intersection. The crash halted southbound commuters. 

Gila River Indian Community confirmed its emergency services cleared the scene of wreckage. Fire and police units were spotted at the intersection. 

A vehicle was hauled from the middle of the southbound lanes around 3:45 p.m., Arizona transportation department cameras showed. 

By 4 p.m., the road seemed clear except for a tow truck and police cruiser on the shoulder. 

Injuries or fatalities in the crash are unknown at this time.
