For the past four years, Santa and Mrs. Claus have set up shop on West Cypress Lane. While many local residents only know the couple as Mr. and Mrs. Claus from late November until December, the rest of the year they are known as Linda and Rich Huggins.
The jolly couple thrill children, greet parents and take gift requests, as well as donated food items for the Maricopa food bank.
Santa and Mrs. Claus have been overwhelmed by Maricopa residents’ generosity over the years. “The residents of Maricopa really step up around Christmas time and so generously give to the food bank,” Santa said. “We are so grateful that people come out and donate.”
