Shred-A-Thon to take place tomorrow

Did your office overflow with paper documents Tax Day?

You’re in luck, because the Maricopa Senior Advisory Committee and Pinal County Attorney’s Office will host its sixth annual Shred-A-Thon tomorrow at Copper Sky Regional Park.

The two-hour event begins at 9 a.m. and is the perfect opportunity to shred boxes of paper documents free of charge. If you want to pay it forward, volunteers will accept canned goods and donations for Maricopa Pantry and F.O.R. Maricopa Food Bank.

At the same time, Maricopa Police Department will also host a drug takeback event where residents can drop off unused prescription medications.
