Sport Clips latest to open at Maricopa Station

Owner Val Hill cut the ceremonial ribbon and declared the Maricopa Sport Clips franchise officially open Tuesday evening.

The store has been serving customers since Monday and hosted an official ribbon-cutting with the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce Tuesday.

The hair salon dedicated to providing men a quality hair cut and relaxing experience is filled with TVs constantly streaming sports and plenty of chairs for ease of walk-in service.

“Our service vision that we try to do is to provide a 20 minute vacation,” Hill said. “It’s more than just a haircut. It’s a haircut experience.”

This is the 16th Sport Clips Hill has opened. He and his business partner own the most franchises in Arizona, which is home to 40 Sport Clips.

“We’ll call it male pampering, and it’s unique,” Hill said. “Everywhere we’ve gone we’ve been pretty successful. It’s been a great business.”

The new location is located in the Maricopa Station shopping center next to Jersey Mike’s.
