Supervisor Snider holding office hours here Tuesday

Board of Supervisors Chairman and District 3 Supervisor David Snider will hold his monthly Maricopa office hours on Tuesday, June 2, at the interim Maricopa City Hall, 45145 West Madison Ave., from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

“Everyone thinks when the summer comes along, things tend to slow down,” Snider said. “But exactly the opposite is happening in Pinal County. As many of you know, we’re still working on our FY2009-10 budget, and the challenge is in the balance between our revenues (diminishing) and our expenses. We will see what the legislature will do when it comes to balancing the state’s books. That will most undoubtedly have an impact upon every resident of the county. County taxpayers should know that the board and I are working hard to reduce the cost of government, minimize our expenses and bring in a balanced budget that still allows us to deliver the services and programs we’re required to perform.”

Chairman Snider invites anyone who may have questions or would like to talk county issues to make an appointment to visit him Tuesday. Call his office at 520-836-0003 for an appointment; otherwise it is first-come, first-served.

“My thanks to the great folks at the city of Maricopa for our partnership to bring county government to the people in northwestern Pinal County,” Snider said.
