With more and more people moving to Maricopa, new businesses are opening as well. Soon Maricopians will no longer have to travel to surrounding cities but will be able to find everything they want and need locally.
Taco Del Mar, offering a wide variety of fresh Mexican fare for either dining in or pick-up, encourages customers “to find their inner Baja.” Owner Kim Hoffman recently participated in the Maricopa Salsa Festival Presented by inmaricopa.com, previewing several of the tasty salsas that Taco Del Mar features (click here for a buy-one-get-one-free Super Burrito offer).
Taco Del Mar and owner Kim Hoffman and his wife Tres (below) invite you to come in and “find your inner Baja.”
Alliance Health Center opened its doors in February 2006. Staff members are currently set up in a temporary office until their new office is finished in August. Chad Lambert, D.C. and Christina Lambert, L.Ac., who moved here from Oregon, are currently providing chiropractic and acupuncture care in their office as well as making house calls. Their new office, which will be located on East Honeycutt, will open as Alliance Health Center and Spa, offering a range of spa services, including a hair stylist and a massage therapist.
“The Health Center and Spa is something for everybody’s needs,” comments Chad Lambert.
Christina and Chad Lambert were available to answer questions at the recent Maricopa Salsa Festival Presented by inmaricopa.com.
Peñascos Mexican Restaurant is scheduled to open in August 2006. Peñascos, owned by Rosalinda O’Hare, will offer authentic Mexican food with recipes that have been passed down from O’Hare’s mother. O’Hare, whose family once were migrant workers here in Maricopa, promises a spectacular grand opening.
“We are very excited about our opening,” states O’Hare. “We will have real Mariachi players for everyone to enjoy.”
As well as indoor dining, Peñascos Mexican Restaurant will offer outdoor seating for customers to enjoy.”
