A neighborhood street fight ended in the arrest of a minor Sunday night, according to the Maricopa Police Department.

Maricopa police said they arrested a teenager after a street fight in Santa Rosa Springs, according to Monica Williams, a spokesperson for the department.

At about 8:30 p.m., cops responded to North Luna Drive after reports of people fighting in the street.

“Officers arrived and de-escalated the situation,” Williams said. There were no injuries reported.

Cops didn’t share the name, sex or age of the teen they toted away in cuffs. Police are continuing their investigation.

Robert Stahmer, a resident at a nearby Porter Road apartment complex, said he saw at least 10 police cruisers with lights and sirens speeding toward the neighborhood.

He said “it’s been concerning” to see upped police activity in his neighborhood.
