Theft recovery based on item description

Every year thousands of victims of theft across the nation are unable to recover items because of one simple issue, the lack of a description.

“It is something many people don’t think about, but it is important to keep a detailed list of the items in your home, especially jewelry,” said city of Maricopa Alarm Coordinator Rebecca Molus.

Being able to provide an exact description of items to police is crucial in recovering those items, according to Molus.
