On Nov. 28 at approximately 2 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle burglary that had just occurred in the Quizno’s parking lot of the Fry’s Marketplace shopping center.

Motor Officer Alvarado was in the immediate area when the call was dispatched and located a vehicle matching the description of the burglary suspects. Ofc. Alvarado was able to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle and detain three male juveniles.

The witness, an employee of a nearby business, positively identified the juveniles as being the suspects in the case.

The juveniles told investigating officers that they broke into the victim’s vehicle by force to obtain a stereo face plate that was similar to the one a friend of theirs had stolen a few days ago. In the process of committing the burglary, notable damage was done to the dash and steering column of the victim’s vehicle.

The parents of each of the juveniles were notified of the arrest. The juveniles were later transported to the Pinal County Juvenile Facility where they were each booked on one count of possession of burglary tools and one count of third degree burglary, both felony charges. All three juveniles are residents of Stanfield.

Names of the suspects are not being released due to their age.
