UltraStar, Cox Media seek extras for TV commercial

Want to be on TV? Here’s your chance.

UltraStar Multi-tainment Center and Cox Media are looking for extras to be part of a television commercial that will be filmed May 9 at UltraStar, 16000 Maricopa Road.

Auditions will be held Sunday at the entertainment center from 3 to 5 p.m.

Acting experience is not required. Producers are looking for kids, ages 7 to 12, teens, ages 13 to 18, and “active adults,” ages 65 to 85.

Those who audition are asked to bring two pictures of themselves. The photos will not be returned.

People given roles will not be paid, but those who audition will receive a $5 arcade coupon, and those given a role will receive a party pack that includes a $50 coupon off a birthday party, bowling, laser tag and a movie.

The filming on May 9 begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Some extras might need to stay all day depending on their role.
