United Way of Pinal County has a slogan–“Live United,” as well as a mission to offer opportunities for success like the Live United coloring contest.

The contest begins Sept.1 and runs to the end of September; however, no entries will be accepted after Sept. 30. The contest is open to children under 12 years of age who live in Pinal County. The entry to be colored is a rainbow with four children, showing the interdependence of society and depicting the theme: “Together, we Live United.”

JCPenny associates and United Way directors and staff will judge contest entries. Prizes and recognition will be awarded in October. Each winner will receive a phone call; children must have parental permission to use the their photo online and in newspapers, as well as on the United Way web site.
