The first Pinal County Veterans Stand Down will be held April 13 at the Pinal County Fairgrounds as part of a national effort.
The event is for homeless veterans and veterans at risk of becoming homeless. All veterans and military families are welcomed.
Resources available 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. include:
- VA
- Benefit assistance
- VA medical services
- VA mental health services
- Employment and training opportunities
- Housing Assistance
- Mortgage information
- Legal aid assistance
- MVD-ID’s and license info
- Pet care
- Haircuts
- Clothing
- Substance abuse counselors/referrals
- Food
There will be children’s activities and entertainment.
