One of just 3,000 viral vehicles was spotted in Maricopa Saturday afternoon.

Readers submitted photos of a Tesla Cybertruck parked just outside Walmart. The bulletproof, battery-powered, geometric vehicle’s all-wheel drive model starts at $76,390.

The Cyberbeast model, with more horsepower but less range, starts at $96,390.

Cybertrucks went on presale all the way back in 2019. Development started in 2021 and the first 3,000 models went to presale buyers in a lottery. The first Cybertruck was delivered Nov. 30.

The rear-wheel drive model has not hit the roads quite yet, according to the Tesla website.

It is not clear which model was spotted in Maricopa as models all sport the same exterior, and the owner is unknown. The three models are differentiated by one (rear-wheel), two (all-wheel) or three motors (Cyberbeast).

We know it sits five passengers, holds 120 cubic feet of cargo and like other Teslas has no buttons on the dash. An 18.5-inch touchscreen on the dashboard controls the temperature, music and other functions.

The Cybertruck has a range of more than 300 miles on a full charge and can increase depending on the model. It can power a home during an outage for three days, and other electric vehicles, according to Tesla. It can tow 11,000 pounds, almost double its weight.

It’s even ready for a war if needed. The Cybertruck has a bioweapon defense mode, which uses hospital grade HEPA filters to protect the driver against 99.97% of airborne particles.
