Motorsports enthusiasts to show off ‘rides’ at free event

The 3rd Annual Maricopa Motorsports Day car show is set for Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 18705 N. John Wayne Parkway.

Come and meet your neighbors as they display their ‘rides.’ The event is free and open to the public, but guests are asked to bring a can of food for the food bank. Owners can enter a vehicle for free, and each entry will receive a free lunch.

All vehicles, hot rods, muscle cars, racecars, trucks, motorcycles and high performance boats can be entered. Pre-register online at FBCmaricopa.org or deliver your name, mailing address, vehicle year and make to the church.

Music, a 50/50 raffle, a car bash, Hot Wheels car racing for kids, dash plaques, show awards, and food will all be part of the festivities.
