Chamber of Commerce sponsors business seminar

Everyone who has ever started up a new business in Maricopa, or in any other city or town, knows that there is always a great deal of paperwork, numerous forms and licensing requirements. The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce realizes that some of the practices and procedures required may need further explanation.

To address that need, the Chamber will be sponsoring a “How to do Business with your Local Government” seminar on Tuesday, October 24, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Public Works facility located at 45138 West Garvey Avenue. The event is free to Chamber members and prospective members.

Government entities have specific practices and procedures they must follow when conducting business, from business licensing to procurement. This seminar will help local businesses understand the procedures local government must follow in order to maximize their ability to conduct business together. Representatives of the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce, the City of Maricopa and Pinal County will be present to discuss their area of expertise as it relates to doing business with the government. They will also be available to answer any questions.
