The Ak-Chin Indian Community completed a partnership agreement with the Arizona Rattlers for the 2013 season, which includes naming rights to the arena football team’s field – now Ak-Chin Field – as well as the Ak-Chin Indian Community’s seal prominently displayed on each end of the field and in additional spaces throughout the arena.

The UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle will be hosting viewing parties for all Rattler away games for the 2013 season, which will broadcast on COX7 and CBS Sports Network.

The partnership will include an outreach program to Ak-Chin youth by players and coaches focused on education, dedication, leadership and more.

“We are excited about the partnership we are fostering with the Arizona Rattlers,” said Ak-Chin Tribal Chairman Louis J. Manuel, Jr. “We respect the Rattlers commitment to community and know that our children will really enjoy the programs this relationship will foster.”

Adam Saks, vice president of operations and general manager at UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle, said, “We know that working together, we are going to deliver a new and exciting guest experience, both in the arena and at the Multi-tainment Center.”

Arizona Rattlers Coach Kevin Guy will be speaking to Ak-Chin Indian Community youth about the importance of education, dedication, leadership and attitude on various occasions through the next several months.
