State Sen. Steve Smith, R-Maricopa, has endorsed Anthony Gonzalez’s bid for the Pinal County School Superintendent. Gonzalez is a Republican from Maricopa.
Smith represents parts of Pima and Pinal counties and is running in the new House District 11. He has been rated the most conservative Republicans in the Senate for two years in a row.
In endorsing Gonzalez, Smith said, “Thank you to Anthony for taking a strong stance on the education issues we believe in that are important to our county, please join me in supporting him.”
The Casa Grande Chapter of the PAChyderm Coalition also has endorsed Gonzalez. The coalition supports Republican candidates who share the Constitutional principles outlined in their Reagan Republican Platform.
