Wade: Prayers go out to Colorado

My prayers go out to the victims and their families of Saturday morning’s senseless tragedy in Aurora, Colo.

Having a son residing in the Denver area, who is very mobile and adventurous, I was on pins and needles until I was able to speak with him late Saturday morning to confirm his whereabouts and condition.

I cannot imagine the horror of receiving a call from authorities delivering the news that my loved one had been injured or killed under such heartless conditions.

Please join me in a moment of prayer or silent reflection whenever you read these words and may God continue to bless and keep you and your family safe and secured from such unreasonable violence.
