Boom in Maricopa business licenses

Maricopa saw an upsurge in business permits last week as 12 entities were granted either new or renewal licenses to operate within city limits.

The city requires people wishing to do business here to apply for a business permit, which is valid for one year.

Of the 12 permits issued, five were for businesses located outside city limits. The remainder were for local companies.

Local companies receiving permits were Mac Enterprises, Laboratory Corp. of America, H and C Bioconsulting, Medical Training with Heart LLC, EMaricopa, Energy Connections LLC and Heritage in Your Hands.

Businesses located outside the city receiving permits were Thomas Bach, Palisade Const. Inc., Ma and Me Creations, Arizona Discount Solar Inc. and Cook Remodeling and Custom.
