Both Stage Stop sites are undergoing changes

The Stage Stop Ol’ Time Country Store is in the midst of switching out some of its tenants.

Leaving the shopping center for good is the feed store. The Bargain Corner Boutique left recently, too.

“We already have two great feed stores in town and just didn’t need a third,” said Will Dunn, who owns the Stage Stop Ol’ Time Country Store at 19356 N. John Wayne, and the Stage Stop Market Place at 44301 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.

Besides the feed store shutting down, Dunn moved the U-Hall rental service from his Ol’Time site to the Market Place.

All of this moving has made room for a new thrift store that will open by the end of July.

“We are really excited to finally have a thrift store in town. It is something the city needs,” Dunn said.
