CAC seeking exhibitors for annual job fair

Central Arizona College is holding its job and career fair on Thursday, April 9, at the Signal Peak Campus, located between Casa Grande and Coolidge.

The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the George Young Activity Center. There is no charge to job-seekers attending the event.

“This is an opportunity for people to visit with professionals in the field as well as find potential employment opportunities,” said career services coordinator Ann Mitchell in a news release.

The deadline for employers to register for the event is March 27.

“This year there will be an opportunity for companies to provide a 30-minute demonstration showcasing equipment, services and/or specialty careers,” Mitchell said.

The general exhibitor fee is $60, while the fee for government and nonprofit organizations is $45. Exhibitors can save an additional $15 if they register for the event by March 27.

“This is one of the largest job and career fairs in Pinal County,” Mitchell said. “Last year the fair was just about at capacity, so it is imperative that exhibitors reserve space early.”

Exhibitors will be provided with a table, two chairs, listing in the fair guide, a networking continental breakfast and lunch for one representative.
