Maricopa, Casa Grande perfect in February health inspections

All eight city of Maricopa eating establishments inspected by the Pinal County Health Department in February received grades of Excellent.

Restaurants inspected included Santa Rosa Elementary School, Carl’s Jr., Shamrock Farms, Blockbuster, Maricopa Elementary School, Brooklyn Boys, Seven Cups of Coffee and Children’s Learning Adventure Childcare.

In Casa Grande, after the month of January in which 10 restaurants were cited for minor health violations by the health department, February produced a perfect score.

A total of 13 establishments were checked during the month, with all receiving Excellent grades.

The eating establishments inspected were: Jewel’s Desert Sands, QuickTrip No. 482, Casa Grande Head Start, Whataburger, Rubio’s Mexican Grill, Palo Verde School, Ironwood School, Casa Grande Junior High, Marisco’s Mazatlan, Cracker Barrel, Evergreen Elementary School, Manuel and Ruperto and Family Dollar.

The health department randomly inspects local eateries to insure good health practices.
