Community service: Chairman of the Board, Detroit Non-Profit Housing Corporation; president of the Board of the Travelers Aide Society of Detroit; chairman of the Board Michigan Unemployment Agency for Non-Profits; board member, Bank of Lansing. Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Metropolitan United Methodist Church.
Occupation: Retired.
Personal vision statement: My highest priority will be to establish an environment in Maricopa that is honest, open and free of cronyism and a sense of entitlement. Potential investors must know that they are dealing with honorable people. New homeowners must have a sense of identity and pride.
