On New Year’s Eve, the city of Maricopa will offer residents two services of the COMET to help with their partying transporation needs.
A reservations service 8 to 11:59 p.m. will cover any Maricopa location as well as Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino and the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center. Interested riders can schedule pick-up times beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday by calling 602-740-6579. Reservations will be taken until 6 p.m.
Riders may be picked up at their home or any Maricopa location. Transportation services will be available for $1 per person for a one-way trip.
From midnight to 3 a.m., the COMET will operate a loop service with buses making one stop per hour at each of the following locations. Reservations are not needed.
- Native New Yorker
- O’Shays Pub and Grill
- Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino
