The rumors are true: Buffalo Wild Wings plans to sling beer and chicken wings in Maricopa’s near future.
The Atlanta-based sports bar submitted pre-application paperwork to city planners last week, solidifying its interest in building a restaurant, according to documents obtained by InMaricopa.
A project narrative and site plan show the 7,800-square-foot restaurant will sit on 1.4 acres near Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and Stonegate Road, just east of the future Home Depot. Other recently announced developments in that area include Circle K, Starbucks and a build-to-rent housing development.
For now, details on Buffalo Wild Wings remain minimal. Once the paperwork is reviewed by the city, the restaurant will move forward with construction.
