An unidentified hotel and a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant are proposed for 3.5 acres of commercial property at the southeast corner of Stonegate Road at Alan Stephens Parkway.
City Manager Rick Horst mentioned the future developments during a tour city leaders took last week after a “City Council Futures Planning” gathering at the Estrella Gin Building conference room.
“Both projects are still in preliminary discussions with the city,” said Rodolfo “Rudy” Lopez, development services department director.
Lopez joined Horst, city council members, other city officials and InMaricopa reporters on a bus tour of future housing and commercial sites Wednesday.
“We’re expecting a pre-application for Buffalo Wild Wings within the coming weeks,” Lopez said. “I don’t have a timetable for a submittal for the other project.”
Attempts to contact a Buffalo Wild Wings spokesperson were unsuccessful.
