Maricopa police arrested a man accused of squeezing his ex-girlfriend’s breasts at a group home Sunday afternoon.

Police arrested a soup-covered Kevin Dodge, 40, on charges of sexual abuse, assault and disorderly conduct.

Officers responded to the group home on West Amsterdam Road in the Maricopa Meadows just after 5 p.m.

The ex-girlfriend said she was cooking soup and arguing with Dodge about the breakup when he threw a water bottle at her. She said she tried walking away, but Dodge followed her and squeezed her breasts.

She said she pushed Dodge and threw a bowl of soup at him. Police noted her collar was stretched and her hair and face were soaking wet.

Water and soup coated the floor.

The ex-girlfriend said she stuck her finger in Dodge’s mouth, and he bit it. Her finger was bleeding, the police report stated.

Group home resident Franklin Cowboy corroborated the whole story. Police are working to obtain security footage from cameras inside the home.

Dodge told police his ex was giving him an attitude, so he threw a bottle of water at her to “cool her down.” That’s when she fired back with a serving of hot soup.

He admitted to groping her, but said he had every right to because he was her boyfriend.

Police noted Dodge’s shirt was covered with soup and blood.

Dodge was booked into the Pinal County jail. He faces more than three years in prison.
