Travelers along the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway Wednesday saw flames against the night sky.
Fire Department Maricopa and the Ak-Chin Fire Department responded to a debris fire at Permalife Products at 7:47 p.m. Firefighters were on site until 10:25 p.m.
Permalife has staff, who will be monitoring the area for smoldering debris that might reignite, at the facility 24 hours a day.
