The Maricopa-based business that specializes in teaching youngsters the fundamentals of gymnastics has shared a space with Little U Preschool, Oasis Life Church and Desert Sun Performing Arts since opening its doors (see “Desert Star Gymnastics serves local youth”) .
Its new facility is in the Stage Stop Marketplace, 44301 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.
The more-than-2,000-square-foot location opened its doors July 14 and features several upgrades besides the additional space.
“We have a new kids area that features a wide variety of play items and we will also start offering mother-child classes,” said store owner Amy Bratlie (see “Maricopa to host mini-olympics“).
All city-sponsored programs that were being held at Desert Star’s old facility will now also be housed in the new facility.
