Fire Department’s fundraiser guaranteed to keep Maricopans warm

Temperatures have been chilly lately, but Maricopa Fire Department has just the thing to keep Maricopa residents warm during these winter months.

The Bagpipe and Drum Brigade are selling decorative throws with the fire department logo on them. Each 50 x 68 inch throw is 100 percent cotton made in the U.S.A., selling for $35. The throws make a perfect gift for a friend or family member – or for yourself to keep warm when watching television at night.

All proceeds from the fundraiser are earmarked for the Bagpipe and Drum Brigade to help with equipment and travel costs, as well as uniform upkeep. In addition, some of the funds will assist with training for new members of the brigade.
