Maricopa High School girls flag football jumped to a 2-1 start this year with a pair of emphatic wins and a narrow loss last night.
The Rams defeated Maricopa rival Desert Sunrise 59-6 on Aug. 29 and routed West Point (Avondale) two days later, 38-13.
MHS dropped a close one yesterday to Dobson, 26-20.
The Rams are still ranked No. 7 in Arizona, No. 4 in their division and No. 38 nationally.
