Nearly 90 percent of the respondents in this week's poll on fuel costs said prices haven’t decreased enough to make a difference in their driving habits.

Of the 213 respondents, 187, or 88 percent, voted no. Only 26 people, or 12 percent, voted yes.

Gas prices statewide have been dropping for the past eight weeks, hitting an average price of $3.467 this week. It’s the first time since February of this year that the average price per gallon has been below $3.50.

Locally, according to Poynt.com’s Fuel Finder, the Circle K at 21212 N. John Wayne Parkway has the cheapest gas in town at $3.429 a gallon for midgrade fuel.
