Guardian Protection Services helping keep Maricopans safe

Maricopa resident Matthew Collins want to keep Maricopans protected.

Collins is the local representative for Guardian Protection Services, a nationwide alarm company that provides coverage to both commercial and residential clients.

Guardian is the world’s largest privately held security company and has been in operation for more than 50 years.

Currently the company protects more than 20,000 customers worldwide.

One of the unique things Collins points out about the company he works for is that they do not outsource any of their work.

“When you need to get ahold of us, you talk to someone you can understand,” Collins said.

He added that customer service is also superior because you get a live voice 85 percent of the time within the first 15 seconds of calling.

Recently Guardian has been pre-wired in all Ranger American homes in Maricopa, but the company can provide service to customers no matter if their homes are pre-wired or not.

“If they are pre-wired, we usually just have to replace the main box,” Collins said.

While there is currently not a storefront for Guardian in Maricopa, Collins said he believes that the company will have a strong presence in the community within the next few years.

“It is a possibility that we may eventually locate a store here,” Collins said.
