Maricopans looking for a good laugh can venture out to the Comedy Spot Satellite Room at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino every third Thursday of the month.
The local comedy club opened January 2008 and since that time has featured headliners such as Hal Sparks and Gilbert Gottfried.
This is the third comedy club to be opened at various casinos, including Scottsdale and Camp Verde locations.
The venue seats 200 to 400 people depending on the show, and prices vary depending on the headliner.
While the Comedy Spot has hosted some big names in the past, they hope to showcase even bigger headliners in the future.
