A new traffic change may impact residents of the Lakes at Rancho El Dorado and visitors to the soon-to-be opened Lake View Park.

Crews will convert the intersection of North Powers Parkway West and West Placone Road into a three-way stop Feb. 28, according to city spokesperson Monica Williams.

“There will be temporary restrictions at that intersection while crews paint new crosswalk lines and install signage,” Williams said.

The work is expected to start at 10 a.m. and continue for two hours.

Flaggers will wave cars through the intersection while the work is done.

The scheduled opening date for Lake View Park has not yet been released, but Williams hinted an announcement will come soon.
