The Glendale Police Department will begin searching for the remains of 5-year-old Jhessye Shockley at the Butterfield Landfill in Mobile on Feb. 6.
The landfill, owned by Waste Management, is about 17 miles west of Maricopa.
GPD is in the final stages of obtaining the necessary equipment, as well as scheduling, training and medically screening involved personnel.
