Intermittent lane closures will continue through this week and next week during the installation of a traffic signal at the State Route 347 and the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway intersection, a city spokeswoman said.
Right-lane closures will be in effect on both northbound and southbound lanes on SR-347; work will be done after 9 a.m. on northbound lanes and before 3 p.m. on southbound lanes to lessen the impact on commuting residents.
Spokeswoman Jennifer Grentz said variable message signs will flash reminders to drivers of the lane closures and ongoing road work.
