Mother advocates for abortion rights

I was older when I had my children, and was even told that one of my children had a chance of Down syndrome. Did I think of having an abortion, no, but that does not mean that I don’t believe women shouldn’t have a choice. After my second child I had a tubal ligation.

I do believe women should have the right to decide for themselves.

There are so many women/children who have many different reasons for wanting to not follow through with having a child.

Examples: rape, molestation, teen pregnancy, major health issues, drugs, abuse, no support, just to name a few.

You may want to come back and say, “Well what about adoption, and there are services to assist?”

Yes, I agree there is adoption for millions of children still in foster homes, group homes and no homes at all. What about them? Just think, it’s not like every woman in the world wants to get an abortion, but there are some, and they should have an option.

People don’t know their circumstance or their life and what has happened or what may happen. People are quick to tell women what they should do and put laws in preventing things; if people would just sit back and look at the reality of the big picture.

Why is it someone else’s place to tell a women what she can, and can’t do, especially when that someone doesn’t know them personally or is involved in their life? Frankly I am tired of hearing how “it will affect me.”

How does someone you don’t know, or have never meet, how is a woman having an abortion going to affect you or your life? There are millions of children out there who need help and some people are more worried about abortion rights. Again, what about the children who are already here?
