Look for 90-degree weather to break later this week for possible rain showers in Maricopa.

According to the National Weather Service, light clouds that moved in Monday will still leave mostly clear skies tonight and a low of 57.

Tuesday, expect sunny skies with a high near 91 and more partly cloudy nighttime skies and a low of 58.

Wednesday is forecast to be hot and sunny, with a high near 96 and an overnight low of 60 as clouds move in again.

Thursday, there is a 20-percent chance of showers, mostly cloudy skies and a high near 84. Overnight, the chance of showers increases slightly to 30 percent, and the low temperature is expected to be around 58.

Friday, the 30-pecent chance of showers remains and could grow into thunderstorms under partly sunny skies. The high is expected to be about 82 with an overnight low of 55 and mostly clear skies as preparation for a mild weekend of cooler temperatures.
