Voters who want the opportunity to meet the Republican candidates for county and state offices will get that chance during the next two months.

The Maricopa Republican Club is hosting a series of events that will bring Republican candidates to the city.

“This is a great opportunity for people to meet and ask questions of the people they will be voting for,” said Andy Lockridge, one of the events’ organizers.

These events will be held on Sept. 6, Sept 27 and Oct. 18. During the Sept. 6 session Republican candidates George Hoffman, John Acton, Rayna Palmer and John Fillmore will be on hand. They will visit four different homes that day, and residents interested in meeting the candidates can visit with them in these homes.

The homes these candidates will be at and the times they will be there are: 44203 W. Granite Dr. from 5 -5:45 p.m., 44080 W Palmen Dr. from 6 to 6:45 p.m., 21085 N. Get Around Dr. from 7 to 7:45 p.m. and 42135 W. Centennial Court from 8 to 8:45 p.m. This home and time rotation will remain the same for all three events.

At the Sept. 27 event the candidates in attendance will be Terri Kibler, Tom Hollenbach and the three Republican candidates for the Corporation Commission. The candidates for the Oct. 18 event are Frank Pratt, John Fillmore, Andre Campos, Paul Babeu and Steve Fuller.

No RSVP is required to attend the events. For more information contact Andy Lockridge at (520) 568-4346.
