MaricopaChat takes over forum

The popular InMaricopa.com forum has a new home: MaricopaChat.com. The forum has been removed from the InMaricopa.com news site as part of the web site’s recent restructuring.

The forum provides users an opportunity to read and comment on local issues ranging from politics to pets to parenting. Recent topics include:
   • Random Acts of Kindness
   • Good Painter Recommendation
   • Horrific driving on 347!  
   • Holiday Inn
   • FOUND: small white dog in Tortosa 
   • Birthers beware

"The forum has proven to be a valuable resource for many community members since it started in 2005,” said Scott Bartle, InMaricopa.com’s publisher. “InMaricopa’s partnership with MaricopaChat ensures this vehicle for Maricopans to communicate with one another remains.”

MaricopaChat.com and InMaricopa.com have entered into a joint-marketing agreement to promote the new forum’s location and ensure a seamless transition for its users in the coming weeks. InMaricopa.com is preparing to launch additional enhancements to its web site, which started with last week’s redesign.
