To provide support to those who need it the most could be the mission statement of Maricopa-based business Metro Care Services.
Metro Care opened in January of 2008 and is an agency that provides professional direct support to enhance the quality of life for those with developmental disabilities through habilitation, respite and attendant care.
To accomplish these feats the business matches families with the types of providers they need.
The business’s owner, Renee Jackson, opened Metro Care because she had a sibling with special needs while growing up and wanted to make sure others got the same type of care her sister did.
“I realized if my family needed a service like this, there must be others out there like me,” Jackson said.
