New physician joins Maricopa practice

There’s a new doctor in town. Dr. Aristea “Tay” R. Karabinas, MD, joins the practice of Drs. Goodman & Partridge, OB/GYN in the Maricopa office near John Wayne Parkway and Smith-Enke Road.

Karabinas received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Growing up, Dr. Karabinas said she always knew she wanted to be in medicine. Karabina’s father was a doctor, and she spent a lot of her time at his office cleaning and filing and doing whatever other jobs she was given.

While attending college at the University of Texas, her anatomy class narrowed her sights on becoming an OB/GYN physician. She completed her residency at Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center/Michigan State University in 2008.
