Obama bus tour stopping in Maricopa Saturday morning

The statewide Obama for President bus tour will be arriving at the Wells Fargo/Fry’s parking lot in Maricopa on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 10:30 a.m.

Maricopa City Councilman Marvin Brown will offer remarks at 11:15, followed by other speakers.

The bus tour is traveling throughout Pinal County and will stop in Maricopa for one hour. T-shirts, bumper stickers and flyers will be distributed to those in attendance.

Henry Wade invites fellow Maricopans to come out and greet the bus. “We want to have a great turnout and, most importantly, allow those that might be a little apprehensive to show their support and know that it is O.K. to stand up for change,” said Wade.
