Oasis Life Center School for the Arts is introducing a new Kids Camp Program. Kids Camps are designed for children ages 2 to 5 and are offered weekly and frequently at different times throughout the year.
The camps are not a pre-school, but rather a place for kids to play, socialize, and learn about hobbies such as art, music, travel, cooking, science, construction, animals, puppets and more.
OLC also offers day and evening camps throughout the year so that parents can have time to shop, have lunch with a friend and run errands. Pricing is based upon a weekly schedule, although drop-ins are welcome on a space-available basis.
Classes are offered as follows:
Mon.-Fri., 2.4 year olds, 8-10 a.m.
Mon./Wed./Fri., 2-4 year olds, 8-10 a.m.
Tues./Thurs., 2-4 year olds, 8-10 a.m.
Mon.-Fri., 3-5 year olds, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Mon./Wed./Fri., 3-5 year olds, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Tues./Thurs., 3-5 year olds, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Pricing:
Mon.-Fri. $25 per week
Mon./Wed./Fri. $20 per week
Tues./Thurs. $15 per week
Drop Ins are on a space-available basis only and run $15 per day. Shopping Camps $15 for Friday nights; Black Friday Shopping Camp is $25. Be sure to call ahead.
In addition to OLC camps, the center will offer monthly programs for groups. Course offerings include Intro to Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Beginning Acoustic/Electric guitar, Intro to Bass, Beginning Bass, KidSong, KidArt, Intro to Vocal Technique, Intro to rhythm.
Each month, OLC School for the Arts will offer monthly acting workshops with a different emphasis. In November, the emphasis will be in Improvisation. These hour-long group classes run $45 a month, which breaks down to $11.25 a lesson. Private lessons are still available in Voice, Drums, Piano/Keyboard, Intermediate Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Intermediate Bass, French Horn, Trumpet and Trombone. Discounts will be given when payment is received by the first of the month and for multiple family members.
