Photographer offering 2nd session of family portraits in park

Local photographer Jake Johnson’s first session of setting up family portraits in the park worked so well, he’s doing it again next weekend.

Johnson said the next photo shoot will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at the waterfall in the Maricopa Meadows subdivision.

By having several photo shoots in one day at one location, Johnson said he can save families money by offering a less-expensive rate for portraits. The pricing plan for a 30-minute session for individuals or families is $100, which includes a CD with all the images and ownership rights of the photos. Johnson noted that sometimes photo shoots involving children can be problematic and if the session didn’t generate any good shots due to issues with kids, it would be free of charge.
