Henry Wade: Dear fellow citizens of Pinal County Dist. 4

515

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in my campaign for County Supervisor. I cannot fully express how grateful I am to you for your vote, time, money, overall energy in this race.

I started this journey approximately nine months ago knowing it would be a challenge to run against an opponent who had six years of public exposure, which ultimately meant name recognition as well as established support from donors, community organizations and local media.

However, we ended the race with approximately 41 percent of the vote. By most accounts, this is considered competitive, especially for a first time run.

I called our new supervisor to congratulate and wish him well, but more importantly to thank him for honoring our mutual agreement to run positive campaigns. Ultimately, I believe it was the one thing that separated our race from others being waged. I move on with my head held high knowing those who supported me heard and responded to my platform of strong, positive, leadership and concurred with my approach to the campaign.

As for the future, many more of you now know who I am and what I am all about so the next time should be a piece of cake.

Moving forward, I assure you I will be engaged in both local and county government wherever I can best serve those of you who voted for me. I will endeavor to represent your needs and concerns and promise you your voice will be heard.
