The two adults arrested for felony aggravated criminal damage and burglary in vandalism and graffiti at Maricopa High School were arrested Friday and released from Pinal County Jail Saturday.

The Maricopa Police Department arrested Anthony J. Alfano, 22, and Mark Sheeder, 19, three days after the March 6 incident that closed the school for the day and sparked a standing-room-only community meeting the next night.

Two juveniles were referred to the Pinal County Attorney’s Office in connection with the crime, police said.

The two adults live in Maricopa, police said, and all four suspects knew each other.

None of the suspects are students at the school and the names of the juveniles have not been released.
